A few steps from the charming village of Loretello, one of the most picturesque castles of ancient Arcevia, stands Il Chiostro, a residence that carries with it the charm of stories whispered through time.
Loretello, with its medieval walls, drawbridge and stone alleys, is a place where time flows slowly, as in a painting from another era.

The property is not located on the top of the hills, but in a slightly lower position, from which the landscape still opens up wide and harmonious, breathing in the tranquility of the Marche countryside. A small paved country road runs in front of the house, quiet and not at all busy.

A whispered story

The name Il Chiostro is no accident: it is said — without certain documents, but with the strength of the legends passed down in the valley — that this house was once a small rural monastery. Walking inside, you can still perceive that ancient and contemplative atmosphere.

The garden
The garden is completely flat, a perfect green carpet for creating spaces for relaxation, conviviality or contemplation.
Two outbuildings enrich the property:
– one partially restored, with a fireplace that adds charm and character,
– the other to be renovated, ready to be transformed into whatever you want.

The house
The main house is on two levels.

The ground floor houses warehouses, storage rooms and a garage: functional environments, ideal for those who love to recover, create or design new spaces.

Going up to the first floor, an environment that immediately captures attention opens up: a room with a fireplace and a splendid brick vault, a detail that strongly recalls the legend of the monastery. The terracotta floor adds warmth and authenticity.
To the left is a large room now used as a kitchen — it is said to have been the ancient residence of the priest.
To the right, a corridor leads to three bedrooms and a bathroom, all with ceilings characterized by wooden beams and tiles, the most beautiful signature of Marche rural architecture.

Heating
The house is not equipped with a heating system: the fireplace is now the only source of heat. An element consistent with the historical nature of the building and at the same time an invitation to personalize the interiors according to your needs.
