PARTICULAR SIGNS

From a beautiful and careful renovation carried out in 2010, with bio-building criteria and materials, Casa Giglio was born. It is located inside the village, among the delightful alleys of the town. The house is adjacent to houses of the same type, characteristic of medieval villages. It is spread over three floors, two floors above ground and a third basement floor. From here it is accessed through a French window with a kitchen and a small bathroom. On the first floor, living room with wood stove and small balcony. First floor bedroom with exclusive bathroom. The whole house is very welcoming thanks to the ceilings with ancient wooden beams and terracotta tiles. The walls are some in masonry with local stone, others are painted with light and natural colors. The floors are in white limestone in the living area, wood in the sleeping area, ceramic tiles in the bathroom on the first floor. The internal and external fixtures are made of wood. The electrical system and the water-sanitary system have been totally renewed during the renovation. A wood stove was installed on the ground floor for heating. On the first floor the flue with its copper chimney has been prepared, for a possible boiler installation.

DISCOVER Serra San Quirico

The village Serra San Quirico (Orange Flag) is located in the province of Ancona in the Marche region. The entire territory is part of the Regional Natural Park ‘Gola della Rossa and Frasassi’. The town has a beautiful well-preserved historic center with a characteristic medieval structure. The Vallesina area is also a part of ‘historic villages’ surrounded by walls and rich in culture and museums, which lies on the hills. They are the so-called "Castles of Jesi". It is also a wine production area, in particular of the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi. Verdicchio is one of the largest domestic grape varieties in Italy.
